Caerphilly Borough Mind is running a Living Life to the Full training course in Newbridge Tabernacle Baptist Church at the end of September. This training helps to teach you key skills that will help you feel better, happier and more in control of your life. If you would like more information please feel free to contact us.

So if you're interested in discovering simple ways to improving your overall wellbeing get in touch to book a place! Please note you must book a place on this course as there are limited places available.

Coffee and Catch Up Morning

Are you currently using our services? Have you used any of our services in the past?

Caerphilly Borough Mind showed their support at Ty Penallta for White Ribbon Day along with Caerphilly Borough Multi-Agency Centre, Bawso, Llamau and Victim Support.  



A good day all round at the One Beat Event on Saturday 19th October! Incredible to see the vast amount of volunteers that give their time to so many different organisations!

Caerphilly Borough Mind has secured funding for a 4 year service user involvement project through the Lottery's Community Voice fund. The project forms part of GAVO's Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent portfolio. 


We are now looking for volunteers to form a steering group to move this project forward.

Well done Clare Kendrick who completed a parachute jump on Sunday to raise funds for Caerphilly Borough Mind.




Caerphilly Borough Mind held its first Eisteddfod on the 3rd of March 2012.

Coordinated by Kathy Ayling (University of Wales Newport), funded by a Local Mind Association Grant from Mind and opened by the Mayor of Caerphilly, Cllr. Vera Jenkins. The day proved a huge success.

We recieved 80 entries for our competitions.

As well as the competitions Caerphilly Borough Mind's choir sang, refreshments we served and a number of members took part in our fashion show displaying a selection of outfits from our Nearly New Shop!

Two members of Caerphilly Borough Mind were brave enough to attempt the Christmas swim. Carol swam at Porthcawl on Christmas Day and Kayley swam at Saundersfoot on New Years Day. Well done to both of them and thanks to all those individuals who sponsored them.




Congratulations to our two new Trustees Sion and Kayley, voted onto the board of directors at our AGM.

Also farewell to Emrys who, after many many years of dedication to the organisation as Trustee and Treasurer, has decided to retire.

Thanks for everthing Emrys, enjoy the rest !

At theBargoed garden group fun day, Bargoed Garden Group held their annual sale.

We were fortunate to be nominated as their charity this year.

The day raised £1,120.

Thank you everyone who was involved in the day, all of your donations are very much appreciated.

Ystrad Mynach Fun Day.

Crafts, competitions, information, children's story time. This day was a great success.

We raised over £220.

Thanks to everyone who helped both on the day and in the preparations.

Friends and supporters took part in a 10k sponsored walk around Penallta Park in aid of Caerphilly Borough Mind.

The weather was kind - only 1 shower  Sponsor money is still coming in. We'll let you know the total soon.
